Designer Disguise Share Their Striking New Version Of Early 2000's Hit "If I Ain't Got You"
Metal-core band Designer Disguise are unveiling their rendition of "If I Ain't Got You," originally performed by Alicia Keys, on December 1 via InVogue Records. The track is the follow-up release to the band's fiery interpretation of iconic 90's hit "Wannabe" and early 2000's single's "Clarity," "Sexy And I Know It" and "Move Bitch." All tracks are a part of the upcoming compilation WOW That's What I Call Metalcore, Vol. 1.

"If I Ain’t Got You by Alicia Keys is an undeniably timeless song. After our cover of Sia’s Chandelier, our guitarist Hoosti would always say that if we were to cover another song or group of songs we had to do If I Ain’t Got You. He said that he wanted to hear Jackson (our singer) perform the song. Needless to say, Hoosti got all of us on board with this track and it turned out beautifully. The song synergizes powerfully in a metal setting and this new version brings new life to an old classic." Says lead vocalist, Jackson Bengtsson about the new track.

It is a classic hero’s journey in which our main character Kai is swept away from his planet Elswaer and taken on an adventure. He joins The Nova Children on their quest to find The Flame and defeat the evil New Order. This album inspects how it feels to fight for good and light when all feels it is in darkness."
